The dividend briefly

Since 1986, except during the 2008-2009 crisis, the dividend has been steadily increased by nearly 4.8 % on average and its performance has been above 2%.

Saint-Gobain is deeply attached to its policy of maintaining or increasing the dividend year after year. For the year 2018, Compagnie de Saint-Gobain's Board of Directors decided to recommend to the June 6, 2019 Shareholders' Meeting to pay in cash an increased dividend of €1.33 per share. This dividend represents 42% of recurring net income and a dividend yield of 4.6% based on the closing share price at December 31, 2018 (€29.165). The ex-dividend date has been set at June 10 and the dividend will be paid on June 12, 2019.

Below, the evolution of the dividend since 1986:

At December 31, 2015, the payout ratio on recurrent net income is 59 % (payout ratio).
